What are the benefits of renting a boat or charting a yacht?
By spending a day on the water, you will see the best of the area without having to take a tour in the middle of the crowds or be lost on your own, not sure where to start. You can also be as relaxed or as active as you would like.
Privacy is important to me. How do you handle this?
We do not post pictures of high profile guests on our website without consent. All reservations and personal information before and after the cruises are strictly confidential. Privacy, trustworthiness and confidentiality are our top priorities.
How can I ensure that the boat is confirmed for me on my specific date?
A deposit is required at the time of booking to hold the boat.
Are the boats and yachts safe?
Our boats and yachts are regularly checked, refurbished, cleaned and cared for. They are a representation of Exclusive Cruises and we provide only the best services and passenger safety. Charter companies must also adhere to strict maritime laws and of course have insurance. This is for the protection of both the charterer, the charter company and the charter industry in general.
Do you speak English?
Yes. English is one of the main languages used by our team, and many of our guests communicate with us entirely in English from the first inquiry to the day of their cruise. Exclusive Cruises has an international background and a multilingual team, which allows us to assist guests from different countries with clear, personal and reliable communication. We understand that planning a private boat experience abroad can sometimes feel complicated, so we make every step as simple as possible, from choosing the right boat and departure point to confirming the itinerary, timing and practical details.
What are some potential additional costs of the trip?
It's always a good idea to have extra cash. Lunch, shopping and tips are all potential costs.
What is the customary amount to tip the captain and/or crew?
Tipping is at your complete discretion but we usually suggest between at least 5-10% of the charter fee, depending on the boat.
Tips to remember when traveling abroad
What is the best part about chartering a boat? It is the absolute most spectacular way to experience the Amalfi Coast area. The views are stunning, the Mediterranean Sea is beautiful, and spending a day lounging on a boat, swimming and enjoying the views is the most amazing way to experience the entire coast…it’s an experience not to be missed.
Always book the cruise towards the beginning of the vacation. Why?
1. If the weather is not cooperating, we will do our best to move the cruise to a different date.
2. Many times, our guests had so much fun that they would like to book an additional excursion for another day during their vacation. There are many different excursion routes and things to see, and the Amalfi Coast by boat is the best way to see it all in a fun and relaxing environment.
Each excursion can be customized.
Exclusive Cruises is delighted to tweak and create different options, just voice your vision and we will make it happen. Please note that all excursions are different depending on embarkation point of the desired cruise.
In Southern Italy life moves at a slower pace.
The locals are relaxed and smile a lot. Please have patience if things that are out of our captain’s control do not flow 100% on a timed schedule.
